Niners' Lance nursing 'chip' in finger, out a week

Niners rookie Trey Lance is expected to miss about a week with a "small chip" in a finger on his right (throwing) hand. The team hopes he can return to practice Monday ahead of its Week 1 game against the Lions on Sept. 12.
